What happens if I do not treat my cavity?

A cavity is a part of your tooth that is decayed. If it is not treated, the cavity will spread and can make conventional treatments ineffective. As the cavity spreads, a root canal and crown may be necessary to resolve the issue. It’s always best to take care of the cavity early on.

How do I get to the office?

Michigan Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is located at 4893 Rochester Rd. , Suite C, Troy, MI 48085. For directions, click here!

Will it hurt?

One of our goals at Michigan Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is to make each and every one of your visits enjoyable and comfortable. We even comfortably treat patients who previously had a fear of dentistry.

How often should I brush my teeth?

Brushing your teeth twice each day will help remove tooth-decay causing plaque. Poor oral health caused by lack of regular brushing and flossing can also lead to gum disease and other health issues.

When should a child have his or her first dental appointment?

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that a child visit the dentist when their first tooth appears or no later than the first birthday.
